All About Christine



Christine Rivers

Christine Rivers works in Public Relations for Central Vermont Public Service, the largest electric utility in the state of Vermont, where she is responsible for all graphic and web design projects, employee communications and works with the media on power outage issues. She also on the board of directors for a National Recreation Area in her hometown area, the Moosalamoo Association.



Prior to joining CVPS in 2006, Christine worked at The Burlington Free Press, Vermont’s largest newspaper, as a correspondent while attending college. While in college, she studied abroad for a semester in Dublin, Ireland. She is a graduate of the St. Michael’s College journalism program. Prior to college, Christine worked for a small local newspaper in her hometown region as a graphic designer and part-time special sections writer.

In her spare time, Christine enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband (Lou) of five years, and their golden retriever, Buck.
