Born and raised in East Dover, Jonathan has always called Southern Vermont home. He started in the building industry at age 15, working summers as a carpenter with his father (which he continues to do). With a growing knowledge in construction techniques, Jon perused what was always assumed, an education in architecture. Upon completion of his Bachelor of Architecture in 2010 at Temple University, Jon returned to Dover to join Linesync Architecture as an architectural intern.
His primary interest in the design and construction field is merged between the two. He believes that a practical knowledge of both architecture and construction will produce innovative, effective, and enjoyable spaces. He enjoys working in his basement wood shop, experimenting with ideas in design and wood working assembly techniques.
Outside of the office and shop, Jon is a volunteer firefighter in East Dover and skis extensively at nearby Mr. Snow. He plays hockey in a recreation league every winter. Jon enjoys traveling, recently completing a trip to Istanbul and Egypt and a semester abroad in Rome. Jon lives at home with his parent, Paul and Kathy, and their Old English Sheepdog, Sophie.
